Creation Science Videos

People who believe in creation rather than the theory of evolution are often ridiculed and accused of being opposed to science. However, when we examine the scientific evidence, its the theory of evolution that seems to be opposed to science. Richard Lewontin, a prominent evolutionary biologist, wrote the following:

We take the side of science in spite of the patent absurdity of some of its constructs, in spite of its failure to fulfill many of its extravagant promises of health and life, in spite of the tolerance of the scientific community for unsubstantiated just-so stories, because we have a prior commitment, a commitment to materialism. It is not that the methods and institutions of science somehow compel us to accept a material explanation of the phenomenal world, but, on the contrary, that we are forced by our a priori  adherence to material causes to create an apparatus of investigation and a set of concepts that produce material explanations, no matter how counter-intuitive, no matter how mystifying to the uninitiated. Moreover, that materialism is an absolute, for we cannot allow a Divine Foot in the door.

(Billions and Billions of Demons, The New York Review, January 9, 1997, page 31)

Let’s put that into simple language; We must believe in evolution no matter how ridiculous or unsubstantiated. And we have to do that because we can’t give God any credit even if the evidence points to Him. That is not science, that is arrogance and dishonesty.  A simple definition of science is: “A branch of knowledge or study dealing with a body of facts or truths systematically arranged and showing the operation of general laws” (Dictionary.com). Ignoring evidence doesn’t seem to fit into that definition.

Alfred G. Fisher, another evolutionist, wrote the following for Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia: “Both the origin of life and the origin of the major groups of animals remain unknown.”And that’s why evolution is referred to as a theory. Dr. James A. Gavin, a proponent of evolution said it this way: “Evolution is not a fact. It is a theory that explains facts.” And yet, many of our schools teach that evolution is a fact.

Like any theory, the Theory of Evolution should be subject to questioning and comparison with competing ideas (Creationism). But this is not allowed. It is claimed that to do so would be to teach religion not science. That is false! If scientific evidence indicates that there was a creator that is science. Evidence is evidence. And a good scientist follows it wherever it leads.
